Not Quite Grunge Enough.

With Dr. Martens back on the radar (did they ever really leave?) and the re-revival of cyclical grunge trend, I find myself eyeing brightly colored combat boots and anything patent (footwear that is.) Fortunately the grunge and punk thing has never been flattering for me and always seemed a bit too generic. I do however love the footwear and look forward to integrating it into my dark and romantic wardrobe. I'm pretty sure I will easily be categorized as a punk princess in my all black attire and patent boots but you will never catch me in a flannel...that's just taking it too far.
